The Invisible Man (2020)
I didn't like 2020's Invisible Man. I'll just say that up front. And a big part of the reason is that I don't like Elizabeth Moss. I didn't like her in Mad Men, I didn't like her in Handmaid's Tale, and I didn't like her in Invisible Man. I don't know why, but there's something about her expressions that I find creepy and off-putting. So I went into the movie knowing I probably wouldn't love it.
But the movie was even worse than I expected. There are so many plot holes and moments where you're thinking "why doesn't he just do THIS?" or "she would never have done that..." The storyline is extremely difficult to accept.
The special effects are decent. That's about all I can say that's positive about this movie. I'm not saying don't see it. If you LIKE Elizabeth Moss, you'll probably lean more towards liking this. But if you don't like her, then don't see it. It doesn't have much other redeeming value.
